Manufacturing Facility

Accu Lens state of the art manufacturing facility features the latest
in lathing, polishing and verification equipment. Every Contact Lens manufactured at Accu Lens undergoes a proven consistent stringent method of fabrication processing including:

  • State-of-the-Art Machining
The latest technology in CNC manufacturing and Computer Lens design is part of what makes Accu Lens a leader in GP lens design. With the use of DAC CNC Contact Lens Lathe, Accu Lens can manufacture the latest designs, the most complicated lens curves, and the highest quality products on the market today.
  • Custom Lens Polishing System
Accu Lens incorporates the most up-to-date polishing systems and polishing compounds to provide the best optics possible. The introduction of Larsen Equipment polishing systems and techniques has advanced the quality of Accu Lens products. These techniques and systems provide less variability in the finished contact lens yielding higher quality surface conditions aiding in optimum wetting characteristics and closer tolerances in radius control.
  • Quality Verification Process
Here at Accu Lens we have incorporated the highest level of surface and radial inspection possible. Utilizing the Rotlex inspection equipment and based on the Moire' Deflectometry technology, Accu Lens verifies each and every surface to the micron. This high precision analysis provides the most accurate method for measuring contact lens surfaces and increasing the consistency of your success.
  • Cold Gas Plasma Treatment
Aqua Wet Plasma Treatment is a cold gas plasma energetic process utilizing electrical energy to transform the molecular structure of a contact lens surface. This creates a hydrophilic lens surface engineered to significantly enhance wettability, yielding exceptional comfort for patients. Aqua Wet Plasma Treatment is ideal for patients with dry eyes, patients who have oily or filmy lenses and new "GP" wearers to help with initial adaptation.
