PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Accu Lens is an authorized manufacturer of Paragon, Contamac, Permeable Technologies and GT Laboratories to name a few. As Lab Consultants, we have a great influence on what materials the Practitioner selects. From a manufacturing point of view, some materials lens themselves to better applications than others. For example, toric lenses work best when made from a more stable material as well as thin profile designs. High DK (Oxygen Permeablility) materials may be best suited for Planned Replacement or thick profies like high plus and prism designs. Each of these material manufacturers has their own distinct product line as well as some sort of "Proprietary Product".
